From the outside, this is a straightforward 15 oz selvedge denim trucker jacket: pleated front panels, two chest pockets, orange stitching and a compact workwear shape. The more interesting part is inside, where bound and flat-felled seams give the jacket a notably clean finish and the hand-warmer pocket bags double as internal dump pockets. That extra carrying space makes an already versatile denim layer unusually practical. The denim also begins much softer than a rigid raw jacket, making it easier to wear from the start.

Fit

The jacket has a slim fit through the chest and body. It keeps the compact proportions of a Type III trucker, but the body length is a little longer than a standard Levi's Trucker Jacket. Compare the chest, shoulder, sleeve and length measurements with a denim jacket whose fit you already like, allowing the extra room you need if it will be worn over flannel or knitwear.

Fabric

The jacket is made from 15 oz, approximately 509 gsm, 100% cotton selvedge denim. Despite the substantial weight, the cloth has a soft, broken-in hand rather than the firm starting feel of loomstate denim. It still carries enough body to hold the collar, pleats and pocket flaps clearly.

Construction

The classic trucker layout uses a point collar, pleated front panels, two flap chest pockets, side-entry hand pockets, button cuffs and single-button tabs at the rear hem. Because each rear tab has only one button position, they are primarily decorative rather than functional adjusters. The body-to-sleeve seams and horizontal chest seam are bound, while the other inspected seams are flat-felled. Selvedge ID appears on the inside of the buttonhole placket.

Each hand-warmer pocket bag also forms an internal dump pocket. The lower edge of these internal pockets is not completely sealed at the seam, so coins and other small loose items may fall through; use them for larger items instead.

M plus (US) sits between M (US) and L (US). It is roomier than a typical medium without carrying the full proportions of a large, making it a useful choice if you usually fall between M and L.
