New at Hidden Stitch Supply for October

Hi, Mark here.

Since opening Hidden Stitch Supply, I've added a couple of new options for anyone looking for everyday pants or a heavier pair of jeans. The navy corduroy hunting jacket also has its own page, with photos and a size guide for that version.

Here's a quick look at what's new and what you should know about the fit.

Army-green OG-107 fatigue pants laid flat, showing the front patch pockets and straight legs.

OG-107 fatigue pants

The OG-107 fatigue pants bring a military-inspired shape to the range. They have a high waist, straight legs and large front pockets sewn onto the outside of the pants. The rear pockets close with buttoned flaps.

They're made from 11.6 oz (approximately 393 gsm), 100% cotton sateen. This is a firm fabric with a smooth inner face and a subtle horizontal texture on the outside. In army green, they're easy to pair with a plain T-shirt, an Oxford shirt or a work jacket.

I'd look at these if you like pants that sit higher on the waist. There's no stretch, so compare the waist measurements with a pair that already fits you well.

The navy corduroy hunting jacket pairs dark navy fabric with a contrasting brown collar.

The cotton corduroy is soft and heavyweight, with clear raised ribs. It has cotton plaid lining, roomy lower pockets and separate hand-warmer pockets lined with corduroy. A chunky YKK zip closes the front, with a flap over it that fastens with press studs.

The relaxed cut leaves room for a shirt or light knit underneath. It's a useful layer for cool, dry days, especially if you like the shape of a hunting jacket and prefer the feel of soft corduroy.

Dark indigo raw selvedge straight jeans laid flat, showing the front pockets and full leg shape.

Raw selvedge straight jeans

The raw selvedge straight jeans use 15.5 oz (approximately 526 gsm), 100% cotton denim. They have a firm, substantial feel and a roomy cut through the seat and thighs.

Selvedge refers to the tightly woven edge of the denim. You can see small sections of it at the coin pocket and the loop on the left side of this pair.

There are useful details inside too. The seams enclose the cut fabric edges, and the pocket bags use substantial cotton twill. A button fly and reinforced front-pocket corners complete the five-pocket design.

Check the waist measurements before ordering. The waist runs larger than the size number suggests, so that number should not be read as an exact measurement in inches.

Finding your size

Each product page has a size guide with garment measurements. Compare them with something you already enjoy wearing, and allow for any layers you plan to wear underneath the jacket.

If you're unsure, get in touch and I'll help you compare the measurements.

Thanks for following along as the shop grows.
